Expired Domains Bulk DR Checker
Bulk evaluate expired domains and marketplace auction lists for genuine Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR 40+). Vet high-authority drops in seconds before placing your bids.
Processing batches up to 1,000 domains with safe rate-limiting intervals.
The 4-Pillar Expired Domain Vetting Framework
Never purchase an expired domain based solely on registrar claims. Combine live metrics to protect your investment.
Ahrefs Live DR Baseline
Verify live Domain Rating across official Ahrefs endpoints. Filter out names below DR 30 to concentrate your bidding budget on true needle-movers.
Referring Domain Quality
Look for natural backlink velocity from diverse C-class subnets rather than automated comment blasts or sitewide footer links that trigger algorithmic penalties.
Wayback Clean History
Cross-check the Wayback Machine archive to guarantee the domain was not previously turned into a foreign-language casino, pharma, or PBN network.
Clean Google Index Status
Ensure the domain does not possess an active manual action in Google Search Console that would prevent 301 equity transmission or rebuild rankability.
Batch Auditing Auctions Across Major Domain Marketplaces
Each day, tens of thousands of domains enter public auctions. Here is how top domain flippers integrate our tool:
GoDaddy & NameJet Auctions
Download daily .csv auction catalogs, upload up to 1,000 domains here, sort by DR descending, and place sniper bids on high-DR undervalues.
SpamZilla & ExpiredDomains.net
Verify cached or stale third-party metrics with our real-time Ahrefs API check to ensure the DR hasn't plummeted due to recent backlink link rot.
Drop Catching (DropCatch / Dynadot)
Run pending-delete lists through our bulk checker 24 hours prior to the drop window to reserve backorders exclusively on elite authority names.
Frequently Asked Questions (Expired Domain DR Auditing)
Everything regarding expired domain valuation, 301 redirects, and spam prevention.
What minimum DR should I aim for when buying an expired domain?
For niche site rebuilding or 301 redirects, an Ahrefs DR of 35 to 50+ typically provides substantial authority equity. Domains below DR 20 often offer minimal backlink advantage over starting a brand new domain.
Does a high DR guarantee an expired domain is safe to buy?
DR confirms link equity, but you must always perform historical due diligence. Check the Wayback Machine archive and verify that the referring domains are relevant to your target niche.
Can I download auction lists with DR scores into CSV?
Yes! Use our 'Export Clean CSV' button to save the entire auction cohort, complete with DR scores and Authority Tiers, into your spreadsheet.
